Continuity

Python

Every new Claude Code session starts with no memory of the last one, so the same decisions, constraints and open tasks get re-explained. Continuity persists them to plain files in the project and loads a small, relevant slice back in when the next session starts.

At a glance
  • Plain Markdown store in the repo; no database, server or cloud.
  • A session-start hook injects a bounded, provenance-labelled slice of context.
  • Writes on meaningful change, never through an LLM call, and fails open on any error.
  • Python standard library only; nothing to pip install.
